So one of Kotaku's Editors Maggie Greene reflects upon her introduction to gaming. See HERE. Which made me thought of how I was introduced. Thinking back in time, I vividly remember first playing the Atari system at my grandma's house with my cousins, then later getting one of my own. I probably have the those 1 button candle like joystock stored away at my parent's. After than, I remember my parents buying a Commodore 128. Other than trying to to make the screen run "Hello World", I was able to game on there. Probably my most favorite game was Magic Johnson vs Larry Bird one-on-one basketball, it was the best game ever. Ofcourse, I always played Magic, schooling him left and right like he did on the Lakers. Never really would of thought about it if it weren't Maggie's post so thanks Maggie, you opened up a door I haven't thought about in quite awhile. So I open it up to you all, and reflect upon your introduction in the forums, follow the link. http://kaizokuo.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=211 |

So how did this all come about? Well to start, I’ve always wanted to create my own website, but there just wasn’t enough substance for me to create one, until now. I started learning html back in college, getting in my free lessons due to working at a computer lab that held classes for students and adults during the evenings. I created my first cheesy website by coding html in notepad, along with my newbie Photoshop skills, then later, making a cheesy website for my TFC clan. Back then, they didn’t have all these different editors that they do now, lucky for you. Now fast forward to today, it’s been along while since I’ve caught up with the html lingo, but things are much easier now with so many guides and templates available to us for free. So if any of you need some help, just ask, although I wouldn’t consider myself an expert at the field, but I did manage to get this website up, woot! |
